Since our skin can absorb up to 60% of what is placed on it, we need to be very careful about the products we wear. Juice Beauty uses certified organic ingredients, so I feel comfortable if my daughters uses them. I love that they purchase the majority of their ingredients from local West Coast USDA Certified Organic farms. I also like that they don’t use inexpensive fillers and they never test on animals.

I’m a huge believer in serums and am always on the hunt for a good one. This serum helps prevent visible signs of aging and fatigue, keeping your skin look youthful. The best part is it does it all while you sleep! I love that it solves so many problems. It reduces wrinkles, dark spots, and roughness and it also increases elasticity. This serum goes on smooth and it has a lovely scent. I’m excited to add this to my nightly beauty routine.

WHAT DID I THINK OF THE BOOK?
If you follow me on Instagram you know I’ve been doing tons of projects around my house. I swear…every year I say I’m going to do two things…1. Repaint the trim and floorboards of every room of my house 2. Organize every room in my house. This year I am finally doing it! It’s a daunting task and can feel overwhelming, but this book has made it seem so manageable. So far, I have painted four rooms in my house and decluttered five! This book has not only inspired me to start my projects, but also has kept me motivated to keep going until all of them are done. I love how the book lets you plan out your task, decide what is and isn’t working in that room, decide how you want the room to make you feel, how to declutter it, and most importantly…how can I maintain it.

These are wonderful for people who travel because you can carry small tins of loose tea and use these bags to make your tea on the go. They close better than many I’ve used in the past.

I know when I am planning a trip or just returning home, I like to make homemade meals that are simple to prepare that don’t require lots of ingredients. This book is filled with easy, delicious recipes you can whip up with a busy schedule. I like that you can easily identify if one of their recipes is vegan, keto, or paleo. You can also quickly see if the recipe has no gluten, no eggs, no dairy, and no nuts. In addition to recipes, it gives healthy tips like which fruits/vegetables you should buy organic and which ones you don’t. Finally, they also have tons of videos on YouTube where they show you healthy options and top picks from places such as Whole Foods, Costco, Trader Joe’s and more. The iPhone Photography Book

Ever since I got the iPhone what number do I have? I stopped bringing my manual camera with me when I go on trips because I love the way my pictures come out with it. However, I always knew there was so much more I could be doing with it. I absolutely LOVE this book because it is like taking a photography class at your own pace. Not only does it teach you how to take great pictures, it also gives tips on organizing photo albums, using voice commands to find photos, and composition. One of the sections I will use the most is where they discuss editing. This is such a great book and a useful tool for anyone that takes pictures with their iPhones. I’ve already passed it on to my daughters, since their phone is the only camera they use now.
