During this past year, my friends have all become OBSESSED with a local coffee brewing company called Boston Common Coffee. What drove them to fall in love with this company? The fact that they were delivering fresh coffee grinds and cold brew straight to their doorsteps during a pandemic made them an instant hit among my town. They would rave about the taste and convenience. I couldn’t wait to get back to town and try them out and I’m SO HAPPY I finally got the chance. You have no idea how happy I was when I opened my door on a snowy February morning to find a package from them. I can’t wait to show you what I got.
BUT FIRST…A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE COMPANY
Boston Common Coffee is a local, New England company but it ships their products all around the US. In 2019 the company was sold to David Croteau and Kevin Dogherty. As entrepreneurs, they wanted to re-invent the company to focus on online sales, wholesale coffee, cold brew, office coffee services, and charity fundraising through coffee sales. Their main goal is to maintain these high standards for their product and service. I know their company is going to be a huge success!
OK, OK…LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT I GOT!
Sea Salt Caramel Mocha ($11.50)
Boston Common uses natural flavors and 100% arabica coffees, resulting in a perfect balance of coffee and flavor taste.
Banana Nut Crème ($11.50)
Treat yourself to an amazing coffee with the subtle flavors of Banana, Hazelnut and Vanilla Creme. This coffee provides a delicate treat for the senses without being overly sweet.
Winter Wonderland ($11.50)
Indulge yourself on a cold winter day. This smooth and satisfying coffee is flavored with Vanilla Creme, Warm Cinnamon and White Chocolate to provide just the right touch of sweet.
12 Count Caramel Vanilla Explosion (Single Serve Cup) ($6.95)
You may need to sit while drinking this coffee. Subtle flavors of Caramel and Vanilla combined with a premium coffee blend will liven up your taste buds and wake up your senses. This flavor feels like a special treat but is subtle enough to drink every day.
Boston Common Blend
Our lightest-roasted blend. This combination of Indonesian and Central American coffees possesses pleasant acidity, balanced flavor and mellow body. A perfect cup any time of day. This one was a huge hit with my husband!

This is the perfect size for a morning cup of coffee.
WHAT ABOUT THEIR COLD BREW?
This is what my friends are most crazed about! They swear it is the best coffee they’ve ever had. Boston Common Coffee steeps their cold brew for over 18 hours in small batches with their proprietary roast of coffee beans. They use over a pound of coffee in every gallon! The cold brew gallon costs $16.50 and they also sell a gallon size cold brew concentrate for $33.
UNSUNG HERO BLEND (I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!)
The Unsung Hero blend was developed to celebrate and recognize those every day heroes that have done something extraordinary for you. Maybe they brought you a meal, went grocery shopping, took care of you, safely drove your children to school, shoveled your walkway…there are endless options. I love this idea and if 2020 taught us anything it’s that people need to help each other and appreciate when others take time out of their day to help us. I think this is the perfect way to say “Thank you,” to someone that has made a difference in your life.
WHAT DO I WANT TO GET NEXT?
I definitely want to try their cold brew. My husband wants to try the regular cold brew and I’d love to try their flavored cold brew!
