Our family loves mysteries, crime shows, and sitting around watching reruns of Criminal Minds. We try to solve each case and love figuring out the clues. We were so excited to find out there are subscription boxes, like Hunt a Killer, that allow you to play detective. With these boxes you can gather around your kitchen island, sett up a crime board, and scour over all the evidence. Here is one of the boxes we’ve discovered:

WHY YOU WILL LOVE HUNT A KILLER
Hunt A Killer is an immersive murder mystery game told over the course of six “episodes” or boxes. After you receive the box, you can examine the evidence to uncover critical clues, corroborate alibis, create timelines, and identify each suspect’s means, motive, and opportunity. Since each box takes between 90 minutes to three hours to complete, it makes for a fun, memorable night at home.
WHAT DID WE GET?
. Each box is filled with different clues and physical items such as autopsy reports, witness statements, and more.
Our case involved the murder of Viola Vane, an actress at the Cadence Theatre in New York…
Our kit included items such as letters from several people of interest,
a play program that gave details of the cast and a synopsis of the three acts in the play,
a list from the police with the evidence collected, and a forensic report,
rehearsal notes, and a single cufflink… (insert sinister music!)
It was fun to look at the items together, but since we were only going to see the first box, we didn’t try to solve it. However, we were able to see how fun it would be to have an ongoing case, since we’ve only done boxes that are solved in one night.
