Once again, I was so excited to be attending the Women in Travel Summit, and this year I was thrilled it was being held in Salt Lake City, Utah. First impression
The lobby is sophisticated and makes you want to linger.
I love this sitting area with tables and chairs.
These floating shelves are beautiful!
I want these chairs in my house.
Let me show you around my room. I stayed in a
Classic 2 King Room
The ceiling of the room was cement and gave it an industrial look. The room was decorated in grey and black tones with accents of mustard and bronze. My room had 2 comfortable king beds and the four pillows were amazing. There was a flat-screen tv, a phone, and a clock that had built-in USB ports.
I loved the sitting area in the room. It was a nice place to relax after a day of adventure in the city.
The room had a mini refrigerator so I could store snacks and waters.
The bathroom was stunning! The glass-enclosed walk-in shower had dark green tiles and the bathroom floor was a beautiful marble. The gold fixtures gave it a classy feel. I do wish the hotel provided robes.
The room had unforgettable views of the Wasatch Mountain range. Since it was April, the mountains had snow on them and they looked majestic.
I decided to have a quick espresso before exploring Salt Lake City.
As much as I loved my room, I decided to take a 15-minute Uber ride to visit the Natural History Museum.
When I got back, I headed up to Van Ryder, their rooftop bar.
This bar is an amazing spot where guests can enjoy a diverse menu of cocktails while getting stunning views of Salt Lake and the Wasatch Mountain range.
They also have sharable plates. Take a peek at their menu.
I had a delicious cosmopolitan.
After a long day of travel, I was ready to unwind and I couldn’t think of a better spot than the rooftop. I loved reading my book while breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the view.
The pool area is stunning!
There was plenty of comfortable areas to sit or lounge.
The views of Salt Lake City are unforgettable from up here. You can even see the Capital Building.
You will love the views of the city looming around you,
especially during golden hour.
The pool is heated and the glass surrounding the pool area keeps the wind away.
Since I’d been up since 4am for my flight, I was exhausted and decided to just order room service.
My last stop of the night was to meet my friend at Adelaide’s bar to have a glass of wine before calling it a day.
Good morning! Time To work out!
After a wonderful night’s sleep, I decided to head up to the fitness center to get a workout before exploring more of Salt Lake City. The hotel’s fitness center has everything you need: elliptical machines, exercise bikes, a Peloton bike, treadmills, free weights, and weight machines. The views are incredible.
Time for coffee! Instead of making some in my room, I walked down to the lobby to get a cup of coffee. It’s so convenient.
