From the moment you step into Margaritaville Jacksonville Beach, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a tropical paradise. The lobby sets the tone with its light, airy ambiance, featuring coastal-inspired decor, soft ocean hues, and just the right amount of laid-back island charm. The gorgeous margarita glasses chandelier is the main focus.

Coastal-Chic Rooms with Comfort in Mind
Let me show you around my suite. I stayed in room 802 a
King Oceanfront Suite
The rooms at Margaritaville are designed with a bright and breezy tropical vibe. Soft blues, sandy tones, and those signature Jimmy Buffett touches that remind you life is better in flip-flops.
My suite was divided into different sections, which I love when traveling with my family because it gives us all a sense of space. The living room area had a comfortable couch that could pull out into a queen size bed. It has its own television, which again is nice to not have to share. The blue accent wall and seagrass accents on furniture kept up the coastal feel. I love that it even had an area rug, which is rare to find in a hotel. The pillows are personalized and remind you to relax because you are now in Margaritaville.
That area also had a coffee bar that stored a Keurig, ice bucket, and fridge. It also had a dining table for 2.
Get ready to see this bedroom!
The bedroom is enormous. However, before you get the chance to look around at how pretty it is, the wall of glass will draw your attention right to the ocean. These oceanfront rooms give you uninterrupted views of the Atlantic. Simply stunning!
The bed was so comfortable with its plush white bedding and lush pillows. There were more personal touches like the Changes in Latitude pillow, beach scene above the bed, and another area rug.
The room had a large desk you could work at. Check out the silver plane perched on the desk.
And take a look at this walk-in closet.
Let’s Finally Check Out the Balcony
Enjoy the warm weather, fresh air and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean from your own private balcony. It’s the perfect spot for sipping your morning coffee while gazing at the ocean.
Biggest Bathroom I’ve Stayed In
This bathroom was honestly one of the largest hotel bathrooms I’ve had on vacation. It was divided into three sections. The first was the sink and vanity area. The faucet handles were whale tails, adding to the coastal vibe. Next came the shower area, and finally the water closet. Is it just me…or don’t you love when there’s a water closet instead of the toilet being right out in the open! The resort provides comfortable robes that were nice to slip on after a long day exploring Jacksonville.
As much as I loved my room, I couldn’t wait to explore the grounds.
Let me show you around.
I spent my day in Jacksonville touring two museums. The first was the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens,
and the second was MOCA, the Museum of Contemporary Art. They were both great stops. I was ready to finally relax.
Let’s head out to this beach!
Let’s be real: the beach is the star of the show here. Margaritaville makes it so easy to enjoy the soft white sands of Jacksonville Beach. Whether you’re sunbathing, building sandcastles, or catching some waves, you’ll appreciate how convenient it is to step straight from the hotel onto the sand.
The hotel is right near the pier.
There were very few people on the beach when I was out there and it was so peaceful to listen to the waves.
Check out this pool!
The resort-style pool is the heart of Margaritaville’s chill vibes. Lounge in a comfy chair with a cocktail in hand, or take a dip in the crystal-clear water to cool off. There’s even a hot tub if you’re in the mood to soak and unwind.
The pool area is the perfect spot to relax, read a book, or just let the tropical tunes set the mood.
Finn’s Up Fitness Center
For those who like to keep up their fitness routine, Margaritaville offers their well-equipped fitness center with everything from free weights to cardio machines. But if your idea of a workout is strolling along the beach or taking a leisurely bike ride, this location has you covered too. The boardwalk in front of the hotel is a great place to go for walks. Renting bikes to cruise along the coast is a must!
Restaurants
One of the best things about Margaritaville? You don’t have to go far for amazing food and drinks.
LandShark Bar & Grill
My daughter joined me for dinner at Landshark and we had a delicious meal.
We had a Hawaiian Burger: Signature double-stacked, smoked bacon, grilled pineapple, mango teriyaki sauce, lettuce and tomato on toasted bun.
Then since we were in Florida, we had to split a slice of Key Lime Pie. It was perfection.
Good Morning Jacksonville Beach
I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to wake up to this breathtaking view.
This area of Jacksonville Beach offers the best sunrises!
Coffee Time
Although I could have made coffee right in my room, I decided to walk around the hotel some more. My first stop was to grab an almond latte.
Joe Merchant’s Coffee & Provisions
Joe Merchant‘s Coffee & Provisions is your go-to spot for morning coffee and breakfast bites. They also offer sandwiches, salads, snacks, and drinks throughout the day.
I grabbed a delicious latte and found a spot by one of the windows to watch the waves.
There are so many fun places to sit throughout the lobby.
The tropical décor is everywhere.
Even the elevator is special.
Here’s a tip…If you go to the 4th floor, there is a patio you can walk out to. I’m not sure if they usually have sitting areas out there, but it is a nice spot to get some fresh salty air and enjoy the ocean views.
