One Ocean Resort & Spa

Atlantic Beach, Florida

With all the craziness the school year brings, it is always fun to get away with my girls on a mom/daughters’ weekend. One Ocean Resort & Spa is the perfect place to get some relaxation and recharge.  Their location on beautiful Atlantic Beach is within walking distance to shops and restaurants so we didn’t have to worry about driving anywhere. We had tons of laughs and felt completely at home at this beautiful oceanfront resort. Let me tell you all about this fabulous resort on the east coast of Florida.

From the moment you arrive at One Ocean Resort and Spa, you’ll be captivated by its coastal elegance. The resort’s architecture and interior design seamlessly blend modern sophistication with the natural beauty of the beach. Let me show you around our room

One Ocean Resort and Spa offers a range of luxurious accommodations to suit every traveler’s needs. Whether you’re looking for a cozy room for a romantic getaway or a spacious suite for a family vacation, the resort has it all.

We stayed in room 704, a

2 Double Bed with a Balcony

The first thing you’ll notice when you walk into the room is the airy, oceanic-inspired décor. It immediately puts you in the vacation mood.

Our Room at One Ocean Resort and Spa

Our room had two comfortable double beds. There was a flat-screen tv, a Keurig coffeemaker, and an ironing board and iron. The Wi-Fi worked really well and we never had any problems with it. The room had a refrigerator so we could store snacks and beverages.  They also provide comfortable robes. The slider had plenty of wall to floor windows that provided a stunning view and allowed natural light to flood the room.

Our bathroom was small but functional.

It had strong water pressure and they provide full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Our Room at One Ocean Resort and Spa

Our room had a fabulous view of the Atlantic Ocean. Imagine waking up to the soothing sound of waves crashing just outside your window. At One Ocean, you can experience this oceanfront bliss firsthand.

There was a small table and two chair on the balcony that were the perfect place to relax and have a cup of tea or read a book.

Thank you so much for the welcome treat.  It was delicious!

Our Room at One Ocean Resort and Spa

As much as I loved my room, I couldn’t wait to explore the grounds. Let me show you around.

The resort has beautiful sitting areas where you can read or relax.  Tell me this doesn’t give Bridgerton vibes?!

Our first afternoon was spent on the beach!

Since it’s starting to get cold back home in NH, we couldn’t wait to sink our toes in the sand and relax on the resort’s pristine beach. Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll along the coastline, build sandcastles with your family, or try your hand at water sports, the beach is just steps away.

The beautiful boardwalk makes the anticipation grow as you walk towards the beach.

And when you get there your mouth will drop open when you see how beautiful it is. I am not a huge fan of crowded beaches so I was thrilled when I saw how private it felt. It was such a walkable beach and we immediately went for a stroll along the ocean. Atlantic Beach goes on as far as your eyes can see on both sides.

We loved searching for shells and shark teeth.

And lounging on the sand enjoying the view.

The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas and the staff is so helpful setting up your own little oasis.

After a long afternoon of playing on the beach, we decided to check out the poolside bar and get  frozen margarita for myself and virgin strawberry daiquiris for the girls. They were delicious and we enjoyed our drinks while taking in the view.

We were happy to see we had so many dining options within walking distance to the hotel.  We decided to walk across the street to Sliders Oyster Bar.

After dinner we couldn’t wait to try out Whit’s Frozen Custard.

Day 2…Sunrise Time!

You know there’s one thing that will make me jump out of bed while on vacation. No, not coffee but that’s a close second…a SUNRISE! Since the girls were asleep, I crept onto the balcony and watched the sky show off by displaying a gorgeous show. I love that I could watch it in my pj’s on my own balcony.

View from One Ocean Resort and Spa

I was surprised by the amount of activity going on at the beach in the morning. It’s so nice to see the community utilizing the beach. I saw yoga classes,

surfers catching waves,

people lined up fishing,

People jogging, strolling the beach, and plenty of dog walkers.

This view could only get better with one thing…you guessed it…coffee! Luckily the room has a coffee maker and I was pleased to see they offer vanilla coffee. You rarely see flavored coffee as an option.

We spent the morning doing a college tour, then headed back to the resort to enjoy the rest of the day by soaking up the sun.

Time for the pool!

Pool at One Ocean Resort and Spa

The pool is located directly in front of the sand so it offered unbelievable views.

There were plenty of chaise loungers and the resort provides towels.

There are plenty of spots to get some personal space. There are cozy sitting areas.

Day 3: Last Morning in Paradise!

After seeing my sunrise pictures from the day before, my daughter decided to wake up and join me. We grabbed our robes and headed to the balcony.

View from One Ocean Resort and Spa

We had another fabulous sunrise!

We were moving a little slow this morning, so I decided to go down to the lobby to check out the famous coffee maker I kept hearing about. You can make cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, Americanos, and more. Best part…it’s free!

View from One Ocean Resort and Spa

Although we’re not nrmally breakfast people, we decided to go down to the hotel restaurant, Azurea, for a hearty breakfast since we had a 4-hour drive ahead of us. How fabulous is this walkway to get to the restaurant?

I had the most delicious breakfast! A lobster, brie omelet. Take a peek at their menu.
