With so many hotels to choose from in Boston, it’s often hard to decide where to stay. The other night we had the pleasure of staying at Studio Allston and it was the most colorful hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The artistic vibe is played out throughout the hotel and your eyes are drawn from one spot to the next. It was the perfect location to escape the noise of the city, is only 15 minutes from downtown Boston, and is a short walk to Harvard. It was so easy to drive here…and that’s coming from someone who usually would rather have a root canal than drive in a city!

The vibrant hues were even reflected in the personality of the front desk staff. They were welcoming and even took the time to play ping pong with my daughter while we waited for our cab to arrive.
The Studio Allston has a magical ability of sparking your creativity as soon as you walk through the door. The lobby is where it all begins. Just check out how fun it looks!
Pink palm trees! You don’t see that very often.
We were given a spacious double queen room for the night. The first thing that catches your eye is the ‘art headboard’ which is the focal point of the room! How amazing is this! It served as the perfect background for a tranquil night sleep. I want this in my bedroom at home!
Have a peek inside our room…Room 303.
It had a cute sitting area with some chic purple chairs!
There was also a large television and the dresser held an electric safe.
At Studio Allston, rooms are decorated by local artists and our room was done by Molly Scannell.
Our room had a view of a parking area across the street, but behind that was a pretty view of the river.
The Wi-Fi worked wonderfully, which is important when traveling with two tweens.
Our bathroom
The bathroom had a typical shower/tub combination. It had a large counter, which was great for the three of us to get ready. There were also nice bath amenities.
Off of the lobby there was a nice gallery!
Even the elevator was cool with energetic music playing and LED lights!
Casa Cana
Our fun day continued with dinner at Casa Cana, the Latin restaurant at the hotel. It features innovative New Latin cuisine, which I knew my girls would enjoy because they are pretty adventurous when it comes to food.
I love that this restaurant is a celebration of Latin culture and style. It has a hip vibe with Latin music setting the ambiance. The girls sipped on mocktails while I enjoyed one of the best mojitos I’ve ever had.
We decided to share several small plates. We ordered…

A very warm thank you to Studio Allston Hotel for having my daughters and I as your guests. It was the perfect hotel to stay at while seeing a show in Boston and then top it off with an amazing meal. Please let the front desk know they were so kind and welcoming. As always, all experiences and opinions are 100% my own.
