Vermont is one of my all-time favorite states. My husband and I both attended college there and it was such a special time in our lives. It was where our family began! I often say, “Why don’t I live in Vermont?” It has outdoor beauty, delicious food, and picturesque small towns. It screams New England and there isn’t a bad season in Vermont. Visitors love Vermont for its colorful fall foliage; ski mountains like Killington, Manchester, Stowe; mountain hikes; and attractions for families and kids. Although Vermont is an inland state, it has beaches and water sports at the Lake Champlain, along with many lakes, streams, and swimming holes. It is the perfect New England destination for families.
