Puzzle Culture Review

My family has never been into puzzles until the pandemic hit.  All of the sudden our friends started posting completed puzzles on Facebook and raving about how fun they are.  We had to see what all the fuss was about and I’m glad we did because it really is a fun way to pass the time together.  It’s neat to see we all have different methods of completing our sections.  I love finding things that both adults and teenagers can get excited about.   We were thrilled when the subscription box, Puzzle Culture, sent us one of their amazing boxes.  It is such a unique box that helps families slow down and create memories together.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE THEM

Puzzle Culture is such a great concept because the box revolves around a specific artist each month.  Everything in that box connects to the theme in the painting.  It makes you feel like you’ve walked into a museum. (Boy, I can’t wait to do that again!) I also love that the box is gender-neutral, so my husband doesn’t feel left out. (Which can happen in a house with 3 females!)

WHAT COMES IN EVERY BOX?

One 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle

3-5 gender neutral gifts related to the artwork theme or puzzle culture in general

A challenge prompt with a different way to approach piecing together your puzzle

WHAT PRODUCTS DID WE GET?

Our theme was: Skeleton Garden (Fall 2020 box)

1000-piece puzzle – “Blossom & Bones” Artwork by Natalia Maroz

(Finished puzzle measures 19.68in x 27.55in)

3D Gothic Butterfly Puzzle

Look how pretty this turned out?

Set of 2 Stainless Steel Skull Ice Cubes

The girls have been using these every day at dinner.  Besides being so cute, they also make your drink really cold.

Mini Ceramic Skull Planter

(We can’t wait to plant a succulent in this pot!)

3D Skull Desk Organizer

My youngest daughter helped me put this together…to be honest, she did all the work…lol.

My older daughter loved this print and it now hangs in her room.

WHAT DID WE THINK?

This puzzle is stunning! I love Maroz’s painting…the vibrant color, the dark mood, and interesting perspective. The puzzle is 1000 pieces so it is pretty difficult, but I love that it made us work together. On the first day my youngest daughter and I had so much fun trying to put the edges together.  We laughed so much.  On another night, we poured a glass of wine, and ate some dessert while we worked on the puzzle.  Again, it was a fun night and the kids were away from their electronics.  We didn’t finish it, so it was neat to see us all stopping to look for puzzle pieces every time we walked by. It really is a great family activity!

HOW MUCH DOES THE BOX COST?

$34.99
