CONDO OVERVIEW: It is very difficult to create an atmosphere in a condo that is elegant and welcoming at the same time but this is exactly what the owner of this condo has achieved. The condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed to make us feel like it was our home for the week.
BEACH: To get to the beach you walked down a few steps, open a gate, and suddenly your toes are sinking into powder white sand. It was never crowded and we often felt like we had our own private beach. A storm that came in the week before we were there so the waves were a bit rough however my husband and younger daughter had great fun playing in them. Every day we built sand castles and collected lots of pretty shells. The location of the condo cannot be beat as it is within walking distance to a few of our favorite places. The best part of the night was grabbing a cocktail and walking the beach back towards home. Although it was quite dark, we never felt unsafe.
POOL: This was our favorite part of the condo. The stunning backyard has an infinity pool with palm trees on both sides. 2/3 of the pool is not deep so it was perfect for my younger daughter because she had just learned to swim. We played in the pool every day and we especially liked going in at night. There are only 12 units in the building and not all of them were occupied while we were there so we were often the only people at the pool.
BALCONY: There was nothing better than coming out every morning to drink my coffee while enjoying the view. There was always a cool breeze and at night you could see the lights from across the bay. In the afternoon we would bring the girls in to relax for a while before heading out to dinner and on vacation they usually take this time to watch TV. But here they preferred to sit on the balcony and read their books because it was so peaceful.
BEDROOMS: The condo has 2 beautiful bedrooms that are on both sides of the living area, allowing everyone to have some privacy. Each bedroom had a king size bed that could not be more comfortable. They both had attached bathrooms with tiled showers as well as a walk-in closet. They also have televisions which allowed the girls to watch some TV while us grownups slept in a bit.
KITCHEN: The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook meals including a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and wine cooler. We ate breakfast and some lunches at the condo, as well as one night when we had dinner. The kitchen is an open concept so I could be making breakfast while still enjoying the gorgeous view.
LIVING AREA: There are 2 glass disappearing slider doors that unite in one corner so tons of sunlight streams through the room. The views from the living room are breathtaking in each direction. There is a flat screen TV with a dvd player and comfy couches and chairs. There is also an eating area, although we preferred to eat out on the balcony.
A FEW MORE THINGS: There is a private washing machine and a dryer in the condo which allowed me to pack less clothes. It also helped for washing towels and swimsuits after long beach days. The backyard area was gorgeous and the girls played pirate and princesses on the beach and next to the coconut trees. There is a private parking space in the complex behind the gate so no need to search for a spot. There is a housecleaner included and you can choose how often you would like her to come. The owner of the condo so pleasant, answered all my emails promptly, and did a great job answering all my questions. It was such a pleasure working with her. Her condo is honestly one of the best I’ve ever stayed at in the Caribbean and I’m so pleased to have chosen it.
