How do you get to The Baths?

The best way is to ride in Open Air trucks that take you through the island. This is a great way to see the amazing views of the island and the water. Our driver was so good and even stopped at lookout points and gave us some history on Virgin Gorda and the surrounding islands.

Exploring The Baths on Virgin Gorda

Visiting The Baths on Virgin Gorda is easily one of the most memorable stops on a British Virgin Islands sailing itinerary. Giant granite boulders tower overhead, forming narrow passageways, ladders, and hidden pools that you move through as part hike, part wading, and part climb. The route begins with a walk down to the picturesque beach.

Then winds through shaded rock corridors where sunlight filters in from above, creating incredible photo opportunities. You’ll love the sense of adventure — squeezing between boulders, climbing down ladders, and wading in.

A few tips to make the experience much smoother: arrive early to avoid crowds, wear sturdy water shoes for slick rocks, you will probably get wet, you may want to keep your hands free so bring a bag.

After exploring The Baths, head to the Top of the Baths Restaurant. Enjoy great views and delicious food.
