Weekend In Vegas with Teens
Las Vegas is known as Sin City, but it is actually a fun place to bring teens. There is lots to do besides casinos and bars. With a little planning, Las Vegas can be a vacation for the entire family. Here is our itinerary for a weekend in Las Vegas with teens:
How long would I stay?
Honestly, I would say 2 days is long enough to explore Vegas with teens. We flew in and out of Vegas on our way to Sedona, Arizona and that was enough time.
Where do you fly in?
The best place to fly into is McCarran International Airport

Friday- Day 1
Fly in to Vegas. I actually love flying into Vegas because you get a beautiful aerial view of the desert and the Hoover Dam. Try to get a window seat.
Check in to your hotel. I recommend the Palazzo Towers at the Venetian Hotel. (Read our full review of the hotel here.) I recommend getting a Luxury Two Queen Suite. With a sunken living room, huge bathroom, and 2 comfortable queen beds, it is a great room.
For lunch, head down to the main pool to where you can eat outside. (The avocado toast is delicious.)
After lunch, head across the street to the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N, at Treasure Island Hotel. Your whole family will enjoy going on an Avenger’s mission. It has interactive exhibits and you’ll come face-to-face with the costumes of some of your favorite characters. (Read our full review here.)
When you get back to the hotel, spend an hour or so at minus5º Ice Experience, an ice bar that’s filled with ice sculptures. (Kids under the age of 21 are allowed in until 9:00.)
For dinner, the best place to eat is Tao. It has a cool vibe with dark lighting, red velvet, and large buddhas looming over you.
After dinner, grab some gelato at Cocolini’s Gelato Bar and pretend you’re walking through the evening streets of Venice.
Saturday- Day 2
This view!
Start the day off with a great view of Vegas, go to the Linq Hotel and take a ride on the Las Vegas High Roller.
Adrenalin
Looking for more adventure? Walk over to New York-New York Hotel to ride the thrilling Big Apple Coaster.
Time for lunch!
Since you’re already at New York-New York, here are some great spots for lunch:
Craving sushi? Try Chin Chin Café & Sushi BarÂ
Feel like burgers? Try Broadway Burger
Want some yummy crepes? Try 48th and Crepe
The rest of your day will be spent at the Bellagio Hotel.
Your first stop is the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden. Gaze at the fabulous pieces of art made out of plants and flowers. We were there during the holidays and their Christmas décor was unbelievable.
Your next stop is the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art.
Las Vegas is known for having fabulous pools so maybe spend the rest of your afternoon lounging around the pool at your hotel.
If you want a fabulous meal, try Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge.
What’s Vegas without a show?
After dinner, it’s time to check out a Vegas show. There are so many to choose from. When we were there we saw the Cirque du Soleil show O. The fearless acrobatics, pounding music, and rhythmic dance will keep your teens at the edge of their seats.
Here is a great place to find listings of shows. (Make sure they are appropriate for teens.)
After the show, head outside and get a good spot to watch the Bellagio Fountain Show. Enjoy watching the water do a choreographed dance to the sound of soothing music. (Show plays every 15 minutes from 7:00 PM to midnight)
Sunday- Day 3
So much to do at the Venetian
Your first stop of the day is to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. Teens will love snapping pics with wax figures of their favorite celebrities.
Next, it’s time to spend some time in “Italy” inside the Venetian Hotel. You’ll feel just like you’re in St. Mark’s Square and the Grand Canal.
Make sure you take a gondola ride (either inside or outside).
