No matter how crazy our day goes, I always try to light a candle to set a calm mood in our house. The flickering of the flame and the relaxing scent sets the tone and a calmness wash over us. Candles are the perfect Christmas gift for someone special…family, teachers, coaches, bus drivers, holiday housewarming hosts, etc. They are also wonderful ways to pamper yourself and we all need some of that! I’m not sure if you know this, but I am a former middle school language arts/reading teacher and I am obsessed with books. I’ve been in book clubs for over a decade and there’s nothing I like better than roaming through a book store. Frostbeard Studio has a unique candle concept…all their scents are inspired by characters, stories, and the love of reading. I was so excited to discover this candle company for book lovers!
Not only does Frostbeard have witty candle names, but they all smell incredible. Not all scents are the same, and I like how they list the scent strength on the website.
You know I love when a company gives back. Frostbeard is making a positive difference in our world by helping to promote literacy and the love of reading. By connecting with teachers, librarians and students, along with other local businesses, they do this through various forms of community outreach.

Lose yourself on a lazy afternoon, cup of coffee in hand, while wandering endless aisles of bookshelves. This sweet, cozy blend of earthy fragrances will have you feeling like home is where the bookstore is.
My husband is a huge fan of this candle. The main scent is coffee, and it has a smokey sophisticated smell.

Our Babylon Candle is inspired by a magical travelling candle. The scent is mysterious and refreshing with a hint of traditional incense fragrances.
The lily scent gives this candle a floral scent.
Bah Humbug ($22)
This subtle Holiday fragrance is perfect for people not especially enthusiastic about this time of year. If you find yourself scoffing at carolers and merry feasts, let this wintry and woodsy scent be your companion through the journey of past, present and future.
This candle was one of my favorites. It’s not a classic Christmas scent, but rather has a blend of unique scents that work so well together. We are loving having it lit in the living room by the fireplace.

Literally no place cozier during Christmas, this fragrance is a blend of delicious Holiday treats. Don those silly crowns, cast a spell to fill your best friend’s stocking with coal, and have a magical time celebrating.
This candle smells like someone is baking delicious sugar cookies in your kitchen.
Reading at the Café ($14)
Coffee & Chocolate & Books! Indulge in one of the greatest trifectas of all time. This fragrance is the perfect way to pretend you’re lounging at the coffee shop when you’d rather snuggle up at home with your cat and current read.
Warning…do not light this candle when you are hungry because it smells absolutely delicious. The chocolate aroma quickly fills the room.
Darcy’s Parlour ($14)
Rich undertones of wood, leather and tobacco with a bright top note of cinnamon gives this fragrance a heavenly balance. You can practically hear a quill scratching across paper, crafting declarations of adoration, as our hero wins hearts (both ours and Elizabeth’s). Perfect for any Jane Austen fan, this unique and cozy fragrance is bound to become an instant classic.
I wasn’t sure I would like this scent but boy was I wrong. The candle will give you vibes of a sophisticated study.

Not only are they great for travel, but they also look good with any décor. I love how clean their candles are and the unique scent blends they’ve created. My entire family loved these candles and we each had our favorites. I especially liked the ones that had wooden wicks because the crackling sound is so relaxing.

I can’t stress how amazing this candle smells. It is a Christmas tree in a tin. It will give you holiday vibes as soon as you light it.

Gunslinger, our namesake, made with sweet tobacco and cedarwood, a smell so nostalgic it could make the Old West come back. You will love the smoky tobacco with delectable creamy vanilla and dark brown sugar notes and hints of cedarwood that makes this a must have for candle lovers.
This candle gives me fond memories of my grandfather.

Mountain Meadow Honey. This is the world from a Honey Bee’s perspective. Enjoy the simple things in life! A sun-warmed fragrant mountain meadow with hives overflowing with rich golden honey.
This is one of my favorite candles. I absolutely love the fresh smell of honey and this candle’s sweet scent is so lovely.

This was another one of my favorites. The apple and maple blend is perfect for fall or cozy winter nights.

Fresh kaffir lime and ripe mandarin are the top notes and what you initially sense.
Garden basil and aromatic white thyme with a hint of black pepper are the heart notes and create the personality.
Vetiver and sheer woods are the base notes that ground this scent and make it earthy.

I absolutely love this 1 oz candle set. The black cement the candle is surrounded by is perfect to add to any décor. I added them to several Christmas displays around my house to add to the rustic look I was trying to do. They all smell so good and give off a real Christmas vibe.
