One of favorite ways to spend a summer morning is wandering through the farmer’s market looking at all the local goods.  My Texas Market subscription box brings a Texas farmer’s market right to your door. Their purpose is to help support local small businesses and help vendors expand their market.   I love that a portion of the proceeds are donated to the Houston food bank.

I’ve had a travel journal since I went to Portugal in junior high.  They’ve gotten a bit more sophisticated throughout the year and I’ve gotten rid of the shiny pink one with the heart-shaped lock on it.  Leather journals are my favorite and I fill them with details of my trip as well as a spot to put ticket stubs, postcards, and pictures.  I love looking back on these memories.  This journal is gorgeous, and I love the compass on the front.
