The first thing that caught my attention were the stunning labels on Vance Family Candles. They remind me of vintage postcards and they will immediately make you feel like packing a suitcase. The candles are handcrafted in Vancouver, WA, and the labels were designed by a local artist. You can place them all around your home as a piece of art. They have a wide variety of scents, and most are based on the region. I love the way these candles burn. The wicks are low-smoke cotton, containers are made in the USA, and the soy is GMO-free. This Massachusetts candle company has tons of New England charm and their labels have beautiful scenes that look wonderful in your home. The company was born though two generations of candle making and you can see the sense of pride in each one. I love that they say “Our candles are part science, part art. The crucial part of the process is getting the fragrances absolutely right.” Well, let me tell you…they have definitely gotten the fragrance right. We are absolutely in love with these candles and how quickly they fill a room with fragrance. We love how well these candles burn. They use sturdy glass containers with easy-peel labels that make it simple to repurpose the jars.
