While my family was buckled down social distancing ourselves during this pandemic, I started rethinking what food I was putting in my family’s body. As I realized the importance of this, I then started focusing on the products we put on our body. The ingredients in nail polish is something I never gave second thought to, until I started doing research. I love that Halo Hand doesn’t contain the ten most common and harsh chemicals found in nail polish. Clean polish? What more could you want for your nails? Let me show you what we got.

One 2oz bottle of Soy-based nail polish remover. (Why soy? Soy nail polish remover doesn’t dry out your cuticles and actually strengthens your nails over time.)

WHAT COLORS DID WE GET?
I am trying to embrace autumn, so I am currently drawn to deep, rich colors, so we chose to get the Dark Desires Color Kit. ($52)
(Curved color is one coat, square color is 2 coats.)
Aubergine
A dark purple nail polish, perfect for an all-night affair. (This color is deep and rich and makes you want to go out on a date night!)
After Dusk
A dark blue nail polish, that’ll have you up til dawn. (Navy looks great on everyone. I especially love to see it on my toes.)
Green Juice
A dark green nail polish that’ll leave you nourished. (I am obsessed with green this season and I love this dark green.)
Truffle
A sophisticated near-black brown nail polish for that downtown feel. (I can’t get enough of this color. It screams fall and it goes perfectly with a cozy sweater.)
WHY TRAVELERS WILL LOVE THEM:
Since many of us are not comfortable being in spas at this time, we are taking our manicures into our own hands. (Haha..see what I did there?) Halo polishes are CLEAN, chip-resistant, and long-lasting. Their polishes are quick-dry and go on silky smooth, requiring only 2-3 coats for full, vivid color. They are made with only the best ingredients, and are cruelty-free, vegan, and 10-free! I love that my preteen/teenage daughters are using this polish. I love that the color glides on smoothly.
Mostly I love that the color stays on for a long time and I am really tough on my nails. I did reapply the top coat every 2-3 days but I didn’t reapply the color for a week.
