WHY TRAVELERS WILL LOVE THEM:
I love when an item in my home tells a story, sparks a memory, or makes me nostalgic of a place I’ve visited. I was thrilled when Well Told reached out to me asking if I wanted to receive some of their etched glassware, and was so impressed when I opened the box up and saw how gorgeous they were.
WHAT IS WELL TOLD?
Well Told offers glassware and other items etched with maps from popular places around the world. They have lots of different options so there is something meaningful to everyone.
WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS DO THEY OFFER?
Just to name a few:
Wine glasses (with stem or stemless), coffee mugs, carafes, pink glasses, rock glasses, mason jars, champagne flutes, etc.
They even have things that are not glass like insulated travel mugs, flasks, cork coasters, slate cutting boards, etc.
SO, WHAT DID WE GET?
BOSTON MAP STEMLESS WINE GLASSES
BOSTON STREET MAPS RUSTIC CARAFE
HOW WAS THEIR QUALITY?
They were heavy, thick, sturdy pieces of glass that felt great in my hand. They were definitely something I would buy for my home. The glass is deeply etched so you can even see it when there is no liquid inside. They are dishwasher safe, although I always wash my wine glasses by hand anyway.
WHAT OCCASIONS CAN YOU USE IT FOR?
There are so so many occasions and my mind has been bursting at the number of people I could buy these for. They would make wonderful:
Housewarming gifts
College/sorority reunions
Anniversaries
Weddings
Honeymoons
Local/hometown pride
Reminders of vacations we’ve taken
I would love to give a set to my husband for our anniversary that lists where we met, where he proposed, where we were married, and where we honeymooned.
It would also be cool to have one made from every town we’ve lived in.
COST: Our Boston map etched stemless wine glasses cost $18 each
Our Boston street map rustic carafe costs $34.50
