Wolfe Neck Center (Fall Visit)

Wolfe Neck Center for Agriculture and the Environment

Wolfe Neck is a nonprofit farm with 626 oceanfront acres and 4 miles of Casco Bay shoreline that is open to the public every day. A few years back I was given a tour of the farm.  Take a peek at my post about it.

This fall, I decided to bring my bike to the farm and spend a relaxing morning riding along its gorgeous views of the coast, visiting the animals, and breathing in that coastal air!

The scenery all around you is stunning!

It’s the perfect place to ride your bike!

You can ride to the one-lane bridge

and take in the gorgeous small branches of the river.

The foliage was stunning while I was there.

This house is close to my heart since it was once owned by family and I have fond memories from there.

The coastline is so pretty.

Who can you see in the fields?

You’ll pass cows,

sheep,

And even chickens.

The campsites

The ride over to the camp site area is lovely as the trees form a canopy above you in some places.

Imagine camping at one of their oceanfront sites!

Last stop…the barn

Tale a peek at the sheep, goats, chickens and ducks.  Also, make sure you visit some of these cuties:

184 Burnett Rd, Freeport, ME 04032

(207) 865-4469

They are open and FREE to the public daily from dawn to dusk.
