The theme of this month’s Treat Yo’ Self is SOAKING and it was the perfect opportunity to sample this fun subscription box from Bubbles and Books. There is nothing more enjoyable than a long soak in a warm tub at the end of a stressful day. Although everyone enjoys a good bath, we often put it off because life gets in the way. What I love about subscription boxes is they remind you to take some time and put yourself first. If I’m in a tub, there is always a good book beside me, so I absolutely love the idea behind this box!

I can’t wait to read this! It reminds me of a Hallmark movie! I’ve been in a book club for almost 20 years and I can’t think of a more perfect gift to get in the mail than a story you can get lost in. I plan on finishing my current book and bringing this one to the lake to read over February break when I can devour it without distractions!

I am not usually a fan of incense, but I was surprised by how lovely these smell. They were not overpowering, but rather gave a simple smell to the room.
FROSTY THE SNOWMAN BATH BOMB: I wish I could say I was able to experience this one, but as soon as my girls saw how cute it was, they begged me to let them have it. Since they had been playing in the snow all day, I thought they deserved a warm soak. I loved that the snowman was big enough that they could split it. No arguments = happy mom!
TINSEL BATH BOMB CREAMER: I was so lucky to get this amazing bath bomb because it smelled incredible in my bath and I didn’t want to get out. Even better, my skin felt silky smooth after I got out, which is a nice treat during winter.
WINTER SPLENDOR BUBBLE BATH: I’m saving this bubble bath for my bath tonight since we are spending the day ice fishing and I know I’ll need some bubbles later. I can’t wait, since it has a yummy light citrusy smell. It even has some glitter in it! Fun! I can’t wait!
