If you’ve ever had the luck of witnessing me do a happy dance in front of my mailbox, it’s probably because I’ve received a subscription box. New beauty products at my fingertips…yes please! It’s like Christmas has come early. Which is why I jumped at the opportunity to review a box from LOVE GOODLY and I practically skipped back to my house when it arrived.
Why would you want to get a subscription box to Love Goodly?
In your bimonthly box you will receive 4-5 (mostly full size) products. Although it is mostly beauty and skincare products, there may also be a home or style accessory, a wellness snack, or a wellness item. My box had a $104 value!
What makes this company so unique?
Unlike many other beauty boxes, the LOVE GOODLY goal is to help people discover nontoxic beauty, eco lifestyle and wellness products at a great price. Also, with each purchase, they give back to a great cause!
This fact put it all in perspective: The average woman uses 168 chemicals in their personal care every day and up to 60% of what we put on our skin gets absorbed into our bloodstream.
What cause does this box support?
Farm Sanctuary. Their mission is to protect farm animals from cruelty, inspire change in the way society views and treats farm animals, and promotes compassionate vegan living.
What set of values help them determine what products they choose?
Made in the USA
OK…OK…WHAT WAS IN MY BOX????
Belle Pierre– Blush Autumn Glow (Value $35)
I usually hate the blush that’s in subscription boxes because they are usually too pink. I loved this one and it looked good on myself and my daughter. This one gave us a healthy glow and it didn’t cover up her adorable freckles. It also had a silky-smooth feel to it and was light enough for my middle schooler to wear.
100% Pure– Blush Brush (Value $19)
I was shocked to see a makeup brush in the box! This brush can be used for blush, bronzers, or luminizers. I can see us using this brush daily!
Mindful Skincare– Blueberry Mask (Value $30)
This mask smells good enough to eat and is simple to use. You apply a thin layer on your washed face, leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off with warm water. Our skin felt so soft afterwards.
Mr. B’s Neccessities– Calm Aromatherapy (Value $19.95)
This product is going to come in handy while we are traveling because it is perfect for applying on overnight flights, as well as in hotel rooms to relax you at the end of a long day of exploring. You simply roll it on your neck, temples, feet, or chest to prepare the body for a good night’s sleep. It smells like lavender, orange, sweet almond oil, Jojoba (not sure what that is but it works) and spruce essential oils. Since it is a roll-on, the girls can apply it to themselves.
Moondani– Mystic Mint Breath Spray (Value $8.50)
I always carry mints or gum in my purse while traveling and this spray is going right in with them. Just one spray is all you need for minty, kissable breath! Pucker up!! It was too strong for my girls’ taste but that’s ok because I definitely do not want to encourage smooching any time soon! So, it is ALL MINE!
How much does a Love Goodly subscription cost?
A bimonthly cost of $29.95. (Total box value is always over $80)
Where can I find more information?
