Natalie worked part time as a skincare specialist at a spa and wellness center in Orlando, Florida. She loved helping people learn how to take care of their skin and decided to go a step further and created her very own skincare line. She carries skin scrubs, lip scrubs, organic soaps and all things body care! I love how often she changes her line to match the seasons.

All of her products are handmade, by herself, in her home. You can see the love she puts in each of them by looking at the details.  Look at this gorgeous soap!

Culture Cake Kit

One of the things we most loved doing this past year was being together in the kitchen to try new recipes.  Honestly…anything to get kids off their phones these days is a plus.  Not only is it a great life skill, but we have so much fun laughing together.  Culture Cake Kit is a wonderful company that lets you experience a different culture, discover news flavors and snacks, and recreate traditional flavors in a modern cupcake.

As a former teacher, you know I love to sneak in education whenever I get a chance. Each kit comes with a pamphlet that tells about the country of the month.  We learned all about Bulgaria…the terrain, the cuisine, the day of Baba Marta, and martenits, red and white colored bands that symbolize health and happiness. Laki Naturals

One of my favorite rooms in my house is the master bathroom.  It is my oasis and has become a place of relaxation and restoration.  Nights were spent in a warm bubbly tub sipping on wine while wearing a face mask. Wild Lily Organics

Paint Party in a Box

Two summers ago, my daughters and I had such a fun time doing a paint party and we were looking forward to doing one again.  However, we had no idea the whole country was going to soon shut down.  We filled our days with creative crafts and games, but after a while we felt like we’d done it all.  There were so many businesses that came up with creative alternatives that families could do to bring them together and make some memories.  One example is Paint Party in a Box, which provide everything you need to create a beautiful canvas painting. The Deadbolt Mystery Society

You know I love a good mystery…Criminal Minds, 48-hour Mysteries, and books so creepy I can’t read them before bed.  The Deadbolt Mystery Society are mystery boxes that let you solve crimes.  They are the perfect way to spend a night with your family.

Green Kid Craft

Although I am thrilled my daughters are doing at least a hybrid learning model at school, what they miss most is hands-on learning. One of the things they miss the most are science experiments.  Green Kid Craft is the perfect solution.  They have created hands-on science and art kits that exercise kids’ creativity, build confidence and engage them with nature and the world around them.

Each project is individually wrapped and comes with a card giving detailed instructions.  It lists the supplies included in the box, as well as the simple supplies you will need from home.  The directions are easy to understand but not too simple.  At the end of each experiment there is a “things to think about” section that delves deeper into the topic.

Since our skin can absorb up to 60% of what is placed on it, we need to be very careful about the products we wear.  Juice Beauty uses certified organic ingredients, so I feel comfortable if my daughters uses them.  I love that they purchase the majority of their ingredients from local West Coast USDA Certified Organic farms. I also like that they don’t use inexpensive fillers and they never test on animals.
